A SAVER for CPR
Heartbeat Tech is developing The SAVER, a novel CPR adjunct device. With 1 in every 7 Americans dying from sudden cardiac arrest, there has never been a greater need to improve CPR outcomes. With The SAVER, we not only aim to increase the survival rate for cardiac arrest patients, but to enhance recovery by minimizing neurological impairment.

The SAVER was created from first-hand observations of cardiac arrest scenarios and outcomes. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, the Heartbeat Tech team is an interdisciplinary team of passionate surgeons, medical students, engineers, and designers who are determined to improve patient care through Human-Centered Design.
